| Day 1 – Day 2 |
Transatlantic flight to Italy. Greeted at the airport by a bilingual FF Travel representative and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy Rome, maybe a walk through the parks of the Villa Borghese and the Villa Medici. Dinner and evening in Rome. B/D |

Day 3 |
Rise early for breakfast before the group’s departure for a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The other Vatican Museums include the Gallery of Maps, the Pinacoteca, the Treasury, and the Stranze. We will visit as many as time permits. Then walk across the street to view St. Peter’s Basilica, including the Cupola. Afternoon walking around Rome, you may wish to visit the Villa Farnesina and then enjoy the Trastevere area before dinner on your own.

| Day 4 |
This morning a visit of Rome, begin your walk at the Capitoline Hill, and then visit the Capitoline Museum, located in this area. Here you will see “Dying Gaul”, “Discobolus”, “Capitoline Wolf Suckling Romulus and Remus”, as well as the equestrian statue of “Marcus Aurelius”. Then it’s off to see the inside of the Forum Romanum, the Arch of Constantine, and the inside and outside of the Colosseo. After lunch, climb the Spanish Steps, and visit the Trinita dei Monti at the top of the steps. If you choose, spend some time walking the via del Conso and the Piazza del Popolo, checking out the shops, and windows. Return to the hotel with time to pack, for tomorrow’s departure. Then enjoy an Olive Oil tasting, the hotel’s owner is an olive oil producer, before dinner at the hotel.

| Day 5
|
Depart Rome for the Amalfi coast, en route a stop in Tivoli for a visit of the Villa d’Este and/or the Villa Hadrian. Continue on to Paestum for a visit of this Greco-Roman city. This evening will be spent in Paestum with dinner.

| Day 6
|
After breakfast you will leave for the Amalfi coast. Begin the visit with Ravello then those who wish may make the short hike down to Amalfi, the others may go by bus. After visiting Amalfi continue on to Sorrento for the evening. B |

| Day 7
|
Early morning departure for a hike on the Mount Vesuvius, walk*. Then on to Pompeii, destroyed lava streaming down the side of Vesuvius to bury the city. Return to your hotel for the evening, dinner on your own.

| Day 8 |
Relaxing day to visit Sorrento*. A cooking demonstration/class will be available for those that wish to learn. Dinner will be in Sorrento this evening. B/D

| Day 9
|
Depart today for Rome en route a visit of Herculaneum. This village was also destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius but not by lava. A wave of hot ash and gases descended upon Herculaneum at about 100 km/hr and at greeter than 500 C, killing everyone but leaving much of the city intact. On arrival in Rome, check into the hotel, walk around the city before dinner on your own.

| Day 10 |
Today enjoy the Eternal city, you may wish to visit the inside and grounds of the Pantheon as well as the Trevi Fountain. You may wish to stop by the Café Greco on the Via Frattina for a pick-me-up before dinner. Overnight in Rome. B/D |

|
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
