Educational Travel Services Client Testimonials

“We had just a fabulous trip. Absolutely no glitches, the kids as well as the adults on the trip were thrilled with the sights, food, and Italy. I wanted to thank you for all the work you did on that first crazy day, as well as helping to track down the luggage for our student. I should mention that all of the escorts and guides were great. They all did a great job and extended themselves to us in a very warm and accommodating way.”

Trips to Italy 2007 – 2012

“ETS has helped me create amazing trips for my British/Irish Humanities students. ETS works with me to plan the trip from the ground up. My concerns about itinerary, cultural and interactive opportunities, pacing, and cost are considered. When I am stumped, the ETS team is ready with an exciting suggestion for our group, and when I have an idea, they listen and work hard to incorporate it. It is a truly collaborative, creative process. The result is that my students are interested and ready for every stop on our trip. From seasoned travelers to kids who have never been on a plane before, ETS has created trips that engage and excite every single kid in our class, year after year. One of the aspects I most value about ETS is their commitment to include special interactive opportunities whenever possible; we have traditional Irish dancing lessons at a rural community center, and hurling lessons at a boys’ school in Killarney. It’s that willingness to find us the intimate, cultural experiences that exemplify what is so special about ETS. They understand what makes a trip important and meaningful for kids, rather than just a way to spend a week abroad. Planning and leading a trip with students is a huge job. I would not want to do it without ETS.”

“I have worked for with ETS for many years and have found our trip experiences with ETS to be top quality, with much appreciated attention to detail. ETS offers ongoing support and flexibility that makes the difference between an average and an extraordinary trip. Our students are fully engaged and delighted by the extra interactive activities that are ‘above and beyond’ the typical student travel experience. Having tried others, I would no longer work with any other company.”

Trips to France and Spain 2002 - 2010

“As the chaperones on our trip to Madrid and Paris, we were completely relaxed as everything was well organized by Educational Travel Service of Vermont. The trip went seamlessly! The guides and escorts were knowledgeable and great with our students. The group felt a personal connection with the guides and escorts, and felt totally safe and secure in their company. Our itinerary was packed with tourism with just enough time for the kids to do a little exploring on their own. Our hotels were conveniently located in the heart of both cities with comfortable accommodations. The staff at ETS is efficient and pleasant to work with. We were thrilled with our trip and look forward to working with ETS again.”

“As an avid traveler both personally and professionally (through my school with students), I can only make extraordinary comments about ETS. Having worked with several other companies in the past in planning trips, I say with utmost confidence, security, and reliability that ETS is the top of the line! They are masters of efficiency, thoroughness, and personal attention. Of course, details matter greatly when we travel, especially when it comes to bringing along students! Every question I ever had was always addressed with promptness and concern. With so many unexpected turns travel can take, there is peace of mind knowing that ETS is overseeing my plans. Through ETS there are endless opportunities, and they will help guide you towards the best one for you! I can hardly wait until my next adventure with ETS!”

“As the Curriculum Area Supervisor for the South Burlington Schools’ World Language Program and the Coordinator of The International Experience (TIE), which sends and receives 40 students every year to / from France, Germany, Japan and Spain, I highly recommend the Educational Travel Service. I have worked closely and been completely satisfied with ETS. Our meaningful South Burlington school exchange programs have run smoothly despite the little bumps along the road one has when dealing with so many families and cultural expectations. The excellent hotels, restaurants, mode of transportation and itinerary recommendations from ETS, come from 30 plus years of successful personal and professional experience, traveling and taking students and groups to different locations around the world. The planning was thoughtful, well organized, and a good value for the dollar spent. I also know that I can count on ETS if I have a crisis, such as a chaperone breaking a leg while chaperoning in a foreign country. We continue to do business with ETS because they are flexible, adaptable and offer superb service for a good price.”

"I’m so glad I discovered Educational Travel Service of Vermont. After looking at various traveI companies, I chose ETS because of their personal approach and style in working with their clients. As I work closely with them to develop my trip, I have been delighted to see everything I had requested included in the proposed itinerary. I appreciate their thorough follow up, professionalism and personal service, as we develop a total immersion program for my Spanish students. My additional request for integration of science and technology in our activities was easily incorporated."

ADULT TRIP

“We are proud veterans of the 2009 SE Asia Tour sponsored by Educational Travel Service (ETS). Previously, we have traveled extensively, for example to Turkey, Brazil (into the innermost reaches of the Amazon), Botswana (including a remote safari experience), and many other far flung places, but always by ourselves and never in an organized tour. In fact, until this trip we prided ourselves on our independence, ‘tours, they are not for us’.

HOWEVER, this was one of the most magnificent trips ever. It was well organized. The tour leaders are low key but highly informed. And they linked us with the very best local guides. In Cambodia for example, not only did we see Angkor Wat up close and personal, but our local guide was a pure delight. As a treat we visited his village where he grew up as a boy, had a marvelous experience with the local school, and ended that treat with an ox cart parade through the village, waving goodbye to a multitude of warm smiling faces. Similarly, in Sa Pa, Hanoi, and Halong Bay, our guide was exceptional, a truly warm and helpful person.

We could go on and on. But the bottom line is that this was truly special. We loved every mile, every twist and turn, the food, the lodging, the education, the culture, and even our trip mates were special. They, all of them, added greatly to our traveling pleasure and remain good friends. No reservations in proclaiming this is a trip we would love to do again, regret it is over, and will standout as a lifetime highlight. This is one tour that we could not have matched on our own.”
